Twitterererer.. er

Twitter has been getting all sorts of publicity recently. Which has got me wondering. What do you call someone who uses twitter?

Actually, they'd be a 'tweeter' because a Twitter post is called a 'tweet.'

I'm going to invent a service called Sputter, where you post one of only four emoticons to express your status. That would just about remove all meaning and purpose from social network communications entirely.

I thought they were called tweep's. But that may be derogatory...

I always thought "twit" most appropriate!

Prof. Anon.,
Sputter would certainly remove what little purpose is left in social networking. Twitter has done a pretty good job already...

yolio,
I should have included Tweep as an option. Of course Twit isn't exactly complimentary.
