I had good reasons, honest. One panel I'm doing for career advancement reasons. The second is for a foundation that's having a hard time recruiting panel members and who essentially begged me to do it.
It'll all get done. I'm ahead of schedule on the reviewing and the grant writing is progressing more or less on track.
It's not so bad. I started early on the reviewing and have just uploaded my last review for panel #1 (which is the bigger workload). I wouldn't recommend it though... :-)

You'll get there... it may not have been a great idea, but sometimes life doesn't give us the option to choose good ideas.
